From August 26th to 30th, Liu Ning, the Party Secretary of the Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People's Congress, led a Guangxi delegation to visit Vietnam, aiming to implement the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and Vietnamese party and state leaders at the local level and fulfill the spirit of the China-Vietnam Joint Statement. Jiang Wenpei, Deputy President, accompanied the delegation to Vietnam to participate in related activities.
During the visit to Ho Chi Minh City, Jiang Wenpei attended the China (Guangxi)-Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) Economic and Trade Cooperation Matching Meeting organized by the Guangxi delegation. With the witnesses of Liu Ning, the Party Secretary of the Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People's Congress, as well as other Chinese and Vietnamese leaders, Jiang Wenpei jointly signed a Memorandum of understanding with Guangxi International Business Vocational College and Vietnam-America Vocational School in Hanoi for trilateral cooperation. This agreement establishes a cooperation framework and reaches a consensus on talent co-cultivation, professional development, and social services.
During the visit to Vietnam, representatives also accompanied the delegation to visit institutions such as the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, the Guiwu Industrial Park in Bac Ninh Province, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, and the China-Vietnam (Shenzhen-Haiphong) Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.
This delegation visit has deepened exchanges and pragmatic cooperation with Vietnam in the field of vocational education. We will strengthen exchanges and collaboration with Vietnam to contribute the "Guangxi Hydropower Force" to the economic and social development, people-to-people connectivity, and friendship between China and Vietnam. The school aims to promote the stable and sustainable "going-out" of vocational education, facilitate the cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and the docking of the "Two Corridors and One Ring" framework, and build a strategically significant China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
