To actively serve the construction of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, further promote the opening-up of Guangxi's higher education, and strengthen educational cooperation and exchanges between Guangxi and ASEAN countries, the "Study in Guangxi" International Education Exhibition, hosted by the Autonomous Region's Education Department, was held in Hanoi, Vietnam from July 25th to 29th. Li Changni, Director of the Foreign Exchange Center, participated in the educational promotion and exhibition activities with the international education exhibition delegation.
At the exhibition, Director Li Changni promoted our collegee, attracting over a hundred students and parents to attend the presentation and consultations. By means of slide introductions, distributing enrollment brochures, playing promotional videos, and giving away college cultural creative souvenirs, she enhanced the promotion of our college's academic and professional characteristics, as well as employment prospects, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent enrollment work. During the exhibition, our college and Vietnam's Hanoi-based Vietnam-America College Hanoi reached a cooperation intention in the fields of academic exchanges, teacher and student exchanges, cooperation on educational and scientific research projects, and joint hosting of international conferences. Both parties intend to further develop cooperation and sign a memorandum of cooperation.
The college representatives also visited four universities in Vietnam, including Phenikaa college, Vietnam Polytechnic Institute, Vietnam National college of Electric Power, and Hanoi-based Vietnam-America Institute of Science and Technology, as part of the delega tion. During their visit to Vietnam National college of Electric Power, our college representatives conducted a special presentation for the college's faculty and students, introducing the college's basic information, professional settings, distinctive advantages, and foreign student enrollment policies. They also communicated with the college's leadership and international exchange officials to discuss areas of cooperation and policies related to studying in China, initially determining the intention of cooperation.
It is understood that a total of 36 Guangxi-based undergraduate and vocational colleges participated in the 2024 "Study in Guangxi" International Education Exhibition (Vietnam), attracting over a thousand local students, parents, and representatives of educational institutions to the exhibition. In recent years, our college has actively promoted "Study in Guangxi", "Study in Nanning", and "Study in Hydropower", achieving remarkable results and laying a solid foundation for implementing the construction of Nanning as an innovative hub for open cooperation in vocational education towards ASEAN.
