Recently, the 2024 International Vocational Education Cooperation and Development Dialogue (China-ASEAN), themed "Sharing a Common Destiny, Building a Shared Home; Deepening Cooperation, Mutual Learning and Support," was held at the ASEAN Campus of Guangxi International Business Vocational College. Over 200 representatives from government departments, vocational colleges, and industries and enterprises in China and ASEAN countries participated in the event. Liu Cunxiang, Deputy President, and Li Changni, Director of the Foreign Exchange Center, attended the meeting.
During the "Roundtable Dialogue" session, Liu Cunxiang and four representatives from different countries engaged in in-depth exchanges around the theme of the conference. They conducted a roundtable dialogue from the perspectives of "government, school, industry, and enterprise" and shared their experiences in international exchanges and interactions. Representatives expressed their commitment to actively cooperating and jointly exploring a modern vocational education system that suits China's national conditions, promoting innovation and development in vocational education.
The conference aimed to unveil a series of cooperation achievements through various forms such as meetings, keynote reports, launch ceremonies, and roundtable dialogues. It aimed to cultivate a batch of landmark and leading projects, create a model for international cooperation in modern vocational education, and serve the construction of a China-ASEAN community with a shared future for a new era. This dialogue effectively promoted the exchange and cooperative development of vocational education between China and ASEAN, significantly enhancing the college's level of industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation, and international exchanges.
