On April 22, a nine-member delegation including Pei Menglin, Chairman of Vietnam Dongan High-Tech Academy and Guangxi Nanning Yuesheng Electromechanical Co., Ltd., visited our college for exchange and discussion. Deputy President Liu Cunxiang, Director of the Foreign Exchange Center Li Changni, Dean of the School of Electric Power Engineering Zuo Jianglin, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Lu Shangping, Dean of the School of Automation Engineering Chen Guanghui, and Dean of the School of Automotive Engineering Liang Xiaoliu held a discussion with the visitors regarding potential areas of cooperation between the two parties. The discussion was hosted by Director Li Changni.
During the discussion, Deputy President Liu Cunxiang extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Vietnam Dongan High-Tech Academy and Guangxi Nanning Yuesheng Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and introduced the basic situation and educational characteristics of our college. He expressed the college's eagerness to conduct in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Vietnam Dongan High-Tech Academy and Guangxi Nanning Yuesheng Electromechanical Co., Ltd. in areas such as electric power and mechatronics technology application, teaching and training in automobile and new energy vehicle maintenance, establishing professional education and training projects, and effectively meeting the needs of education-enterprise collaboration. He hoped to find effective ways to promote cooperation between the two parties and jointly provide students with higher-quality education while cultivating more highly skilled technical talents for enterprises.
Pei Menglin, Chairman of Vietnam Dongan High-Tech Academy, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the development history, educational philosophy, discipline construction, and talent training mode of Vietnam Dongan High-Tech Academy. He stated that this visit marked a good beginning for cooperation and exchange between the two parties and expressed his willingness to jointly promote the common development of the two universities in the field of vocational education.
After the discussion, the delegation also visited the French Schneider Electric Green Low-Carbon Technology Application Center of our college's School of Electric Power Engineering, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Electric Power Engineering, the School of Automotive Engineering, and the practical training bases of the School of Automation Engineering. They systematically learned about our college's achievements in talent training, student competitions, and social services in the fields of electric power engineering, mechatronics technology, automotive engineering, and automation.
The visit of the Vietnamese delegation marked the beginning of cooperation between our college and Vietnamese higher education institutions. It was also an important measure for our college to thoroughly implement the initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, "Jointly Building a Closer China-ASEAN Community of Shared Future for Mankind." In the future, our college will continue to promote cooperation with vocational colleges in ASEAN countries through various forms such as project cooperation, teacher and student exchanges, and humanistic exchanges, contributing to comprehensively strengthening the "China-ASEAN Community of Shared Future for Mankind."
