Exchange Visit by Politeknik Negeri Jakarta and Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya

On June 20th, a delegation of four people from Politeknik Negeri Jakarta and Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, visited the college for an exchange. Deputy President Liu Cunxiang attended the meeting, which was hosted by Director Li Changni of the Foreign Exchange Center.

On behalf of the university, Liu Cunxiang extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the two institutions and introduced the university's basic situation and educational characteristics. He noted that the college shares similar majors with the two Indonesian institutions, particularly in information technology, electric power, and electromechanical engineering, and expressed his expectation for in-depth cooperation and exchange in these fields, finding effective ways to promote mutual cooperation and jointly providing students with higher-quality education. Subsequently, Dean Ning Aimin of the School of Information Engineering introduced the development history and construction of the School of Information Engineering.

The President of Politeknik Negeri Jakart, Samsoerizal Ibrahim, and the Director of the International Office of the National Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, Tiur Simanjuntak, expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the development history, distinctive majors, discipline construction, and talent cultivation models of their respective institutions. Both institutions stated that they have a high degree of matching with the Chinese counterpart in terms of majors and are willing to explore teacher and student exchange programs on this basis. This visit marks a good start for cooperation and exchange between the two parties, and they are willing to jointly promote the common development of the three institutions in the field of vocational education.

The delegation visited the tea art room, where teachers and students presented a traditional Chinese tea art performance. The Indonesian friends showed great interest and personally experienced the unique charm of Chinese tea culture. Afterwards, the delegation visited the School of Information Engineering to learn about its educational situation and tour various training rooms. The delegation was deeply impressed by the training mode and student cultivation practices of the School of Information Engineering and looked forward to strengthening cooperation in the future, exploring advanced educational concepts and training methods, jointly promoting the development of education at the three institutions, and enhancing friendship between the two countries.
