On March 14th, a delegation of 10 automation professionals from Hong Kong, led by LE Facheng, Chairman of the Control, Automation, and Instrumentation Division of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, visited our college for an exchange. President Li Lin warmly received the visiting delegation and held a symposium with them. Relevant personnel from the college's Party Committee Office, Party Committee Publicity Department, Academic Affairs Office, Foreign Exchange Center, School of Electric Power Engineering, School of Automation Engineering, and other departments participated in the symposium.

At the symposium, President Li Lin expressed sincere welcome to the delegation and reviewed past cooperation and exchanges between the college and The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, the Vocational Training Council of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. He also introduced the college's educational characteristics, development achievements in recent years, and international cooperation and exchange activities. President Li hoped that this exchange would serve as an opportunity for both parties to conduct in-depth exchanges in areas such as power engineering, automation control, talent training models for electromechanical technology majors, vocational skills, and continuing education, in order to cultivate more high-quality and highly skilled talents for society.

Delegation leader Le Facheng expressed gratitude for the college's warm reception and stated that the purpose of this visit was to deepen mutual communication between the two parties in the field of vocational education and training, and to jointly explore cooperation potential in talent cultivation, vocational skill enhancement, and youth cultural exchanges. He hoped that through close cooperation between the two parties, they could jointly advance the theoretical and practical development of vocational education.

This exchange event played a positive role in promoting cooperation between our college and the delegation. It is hoped that by pooling the wisdom and resources of both parties, the quality and level of vocational education in both regions can be improved.

Prior to the symposium, the delegation visited the national-level "Power Supply and Utilization Technology" production-oriented practical training base of the School of Electric Poweer Engineering and the national-level "Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Automation" practical training base of the School of Automation Engineering.
