On March 29, 2024, Party Secretary Luo Xianke attended the conference on advancing the construction of an innovation hub for open cooperation in vocational education towards ASEAN, held by the regional government. As the sole representative of a higher vocational college, he reported on the construction and experience of the China-Cambodia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Green Energy, which received high praise and recognition from the regional government. The conference was conducted via video conferencing across the region, with sub-venues set up in various cities.
At the conference, Luo Xianke reported on the construction progress and experience sharing of the China-Cambodia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Green Energy and the college's internationalization efforts. He pointed out that the college leveraged its educational advantages, focused on the hydropower industry in ASEAN, optimized and upgraded educational outputs, actively served international capacity cooperation in green energy, and actively promoted the construction of the craftsmanship academy based on Cambodia's green energy industry development needs. The college innovated a "1+4+2+N" college-enterprise-college cooperation and exchange mechanism, with "1" goal, "4" parties involved in joint construction, relying on "2" major platforms, and carrying out "N" international cooperation projects. This has formed the "Guangxi Hydropower Model" for the construction of the China-ASEAN Modern Craftsmanship Academy, featuring cross-border collaboration among multiple entities and three-dimensional international exchanges. With new-quality productivity leading the high-quality development of the modern craftsmanship academy, the college has contributed the "Guangxi Hydropower Force" to building an innovation hub for open cooperation in vocational education towards ASEAN and promoting the integration of industry and education.
The conference emphasized the need to raise political awareness, unify thoughts and understanding, focus on work goals and key areas, improve educational quality and continuously enhance internal capabilities, strengthen organizational leadership and deepen collaborative cooperation, to solidly advance the implementation of the construction tasks for an innovation hub for open cooperation in vocational education towards ASEAN.
