In the future, both parties will carry out exchanges and cooperation in areas such as cooperative education, technical training, academic exchanges, and cultural dialogue, jointly cultivating international technical and skilled talents.
After the conclusion of the discussion, both parties jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Relevant leaders and professional teachers from the Foreign Exchange Center, School of Electric Power Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, and other secondary colleges participated in the discussion.
Following the meeting, accompanied by Director Li Changni, the delegation visited the university's practical training and teaching venues, including the integrated electric power technology training base, mechatronics training base, automotive fault diagnosis and maintenance training base, hydraulic construction training field, and water-saving irrigation training field. The guests highly praised the construction of our training fields.
Adhering to opening up to the outside world and expanding international exchanges is the pursuit of our reform and innovation, as well as an inherent necessity for strengthening its connotation, enhancing international influence, and competitiveness. The signing of the MoU with Cheshire College South & West is a concrete practice of our response to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, deepening exchanges and cooperation with international institutions in the field of vocational education. It is also an important measure to explore new directions of cooperation and advance the university's internationalization process. Taking this cooperation as an opportunity, we will further intensify efforts in Sino-foreign cooperative education, establish a multi-level and multi-channel exchange mechanism, promote in-depth and practical international cooperation, and strive for better and faster development of various undertakings
As the next step, we will lead a delegation headed by the president to Cheshire College South & West for the third round of negotiations on the Sino-foreign cooperative education program.
