On October 25, President Li Lin, along with a delegation of five, including heads of the Foreign Exchange Center and the Admissions and Employment Office, visited China Huadian Corporation Power Generation Operation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huadian Operation) for research and exchange. They were warmly received by General Manager Cheng Yanlin. Deputy General Manager Zhang Kaili and heads of relevant departments also attended the symposium.
During the symposium, President Li Lin first introduced the school's overall development, internationalization progress, and international talent training models. He expressed his hope for closer cooperation between the two parties in the future in areas such as joint training of international talent, professional standards development, and the joint establishment of the "China-Cambodia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Green Energy" with the aim of jointly cultivating international talent and locally-based technical and skilled talent urgently needed by Chinese-funded enterprises, and promoting mutual understanding among the peoples.
General Manager Cheng Yanlin expressed his gratitude for the school's long-term support and assistance and introduced the overall situation of Huadian Operation. He pointed out that the company actively participates in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road," attaches great importance to cooperation with the school, and hopes that both parties can innovate models, pool efforts, continue to carry out "Chinese language + vocational skills" training, skill appraisal, and professional title evaluation, continuously improve the Chinese language and professional skills of Cambodian employees, and contribute new strength to serving the construction of a new development paradigm.
This exchange and symposium deepened the cooperation and exchange between the school and Huadian Operation. In the next step, the school will extend the experience and practices of Huadian Operation Cambodia to Huadian Operation Vietnam, Indonesia, and other companies, supporting the overseas development of Chinese-funded enterprises and promoting the "going out" of China's hydropower vocational education.
