On September 13th, amidst the backdrop of continually deepening cooperation in the cultivation of global vocational skills talent, the China-Vietnam International Exchange Conference on Vocational Skills Talent Cultivation was successfully held in the conference room on the third floor of the Practical Training Center of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Lijian campus. Attendees included Deputy President Jiang Wenpei, Vice Dean Huang Wenli of the FPT Polytechnic Institute in Vietnam, Deputy General Manager Mo Yiju of Shenzhen Huazhong CNC Co., Ltd., Chairman Zhang He of Guangxi Jiuyu Technology Co., Ltd., and other leaders. The meeting was hosted by Dean Lu Shangping of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
In his speech, Jiang Wenpei extended a warm welcome to the guests and briefly introduced the school's history and achievements. He pointed out that the national "Belt and Road" initiative and Guangxi's "going out" strategy are crucial components of China's education openness and cooperation and important supports for building a world-class system for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with Chinese characteristics. The school has always participated in international exchanges and cooperation with an open attitude. The convening of this exchange forum is a concrete practice in actively responding to President Xi Jinping's call to "build a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future," which contributes to the joint cultivation of international talents, promotes the sharing of vocational education resources and mutual development between China and Vietnam, and continuously enhances the international influence and competitiveness of vocational education. He expressed his best wishes for the success of the cooperation between China and Vietnam and wished the conference a complete success.
Huang Wenli thanked the college for its warm reception and briefly introduced the basic situation and talent cultivation model of the FPT Polytechnic Institute. Deputy General Manager Mo Yiju of Shenzhen Huazhong CNC Co., Ltd. shared the company's technological innovation and talent cultivation strategies in the globalization process, analyzing the current urgent demand for high-skilled talents. Subsequently, the attendees engaged in lively and friendly discussions on cooperation and exchanges, further reaching a consensus on cooperative development, and the college and the FPT Polytechnic Institute exchanged foreign affairs souvenirs. Finally, the attending leaders and guests visited the Practical Training Center of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
This conference, hosted by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Foreign Exchange Center ]\, is an important measure in the college's active response to the national "Belt and Road" initiative and Guangxi's "going out" strategy. It aims to promote the internationalization of vocational education, deeply explore new paths for international talent cultivation in vocational education, and cultivate technical and skilled talents with an international perspective.
